PRE-PILATES

For the beginner to Pilates.

 

In a small group of 6 participants, you will learn correct breathing and core engagement. Pelvic floor training technique is an integral part of this class.

 

Pre-Pilates also involves an orientation of the Reformer and how to safely use the equipment.

 

A minimum of 2 Pre-Pilates classes are recommended for beginners so that you are confident and experienced on the equipment.

 

Once you have mastered Pre-Pilates you will be ready to progress to the group sessions and the next level of your Pilates journey.

REFORMER

Pilates is for every type of body.

 

The Reformer uses springs, leverage and body weight to provide resistance that allows you to strengthen, align, stretch and tone your muscles.

 

Learning correct core engagement helps to improve posture, stabilise, and support the spine and pelvis and reduce lower back pain.

 

Group reformer classes are general fitness classes and although our trained instructors can cater for minor conditions, it does not cater for more serious injuries. If you have any injuries or medical conditions, please contact our studio so that we can find what best suits your needs.

CIRCUIT

This class is our most “gym like” class. It offers variety but most importantly it offers movement correction and the Pilates principles so that participants learn how to correctly execute movements such as squats, lunges, push ups and sit ups.

 

The use of equipment such as Juvoboard, Reformers, Wunda Chairs, TRX suspension training, Fuse Ladder and small accessories offer resistance in ways that can strengthen your core and muscles in a safe and effective manner.  A fusion of Pilates and fitness guaranteed to feel the muscles and the calories burn.

JUMP FIT

Want to get the heart rate up while lying down?


This high energy, low impact class is perfect for those who want a high calorie burner that will push your rate up and increase your cardio fitness. The Reformer Jumpboard and accessories facilitate an aerobic workout that won’t stress the joints. 

 

A full body workout with a punch, that will burn calories for hours afterwards.

PILOXING

Piloxing is a creative mix of Pilates, boxing and dance designed to give a full body, low impact workout.

 

By using specially designed weighted gloves, strengthen your core while sculpting and elongating your muscles.

 

Enjoy great music as you improve your balance and stamina in a workout guaranteed to make you sweat.

PRIVATE AND SEMI PRIVATE SESSIONS

We also offer individualised programs in a private or semi private sessions.

 

Private sessions are one-on-one with your instructor,  semi-private sessions have a maximum of 4 clients with a program designed specifically for you.

DUET SESSIONS

This class is perfect for couples, family members and friends who want a personalised experience with an individualised Pilates program.

 

Two clients need to book together for a duet class to go ahead.

PRE AND POST NATAL SESSIONS

 

Our highly experienced instructors will guide you through strengthening and stretching exercises designed for this important time.

 

Using the mat, fit ball, weights, bands and magic circle you will be taught how to get in touch with your pelvic floor, maintain your core and overall strength in a safe environment so that you can return to your favourite classes as soon as possible.
